Fats Meyer Acoustic Trio at the Schuhfabrik Culture Summer!
The Fats Meyer Acoustic Trio stands for a best of rock music since the 70s. On Saturday, August 9, they will be performing on the terrace stage from 8 pm as part of the Schuhfabrik Open Air culture summer!
The three passionate musicians rock... unplugged “only” with guitar, bass, percussion and vocals. Powerful, authentic and rousing, and at the same time intimate, unadorned and touching thanks to the acoustic instruments. Tim Skutta, Sven Stumpe and Tim Schöne play their favorite songs from over five decades of rock music: classics by the Police, Clash, Beatles, Stones, Green Day and Foo Fighters, to name but a few. They also perform many “alternative hits” by bands such as Violent Femmes, Monster Magnet, New Model Army and others, as well as songs that are unusual for this line-up, including Kashmir (Led Zeppelin) and Mr. Brightside (The Killers). A set that simply spreads a good mood with real handmade music.
Admission is possible from 7.30 pm. The concert will take place on the open-air stage in the direction of the parking lot. Admission is free, the Schuhfabrik is happy to receive donations. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the hall.
The "Schuhfabrik Culture Summer!" is kindly supported by Volksbank Ahlen, Sparkasse Münsterland Ost and the Stadtwerke and takes place within the framework of the project "Third Places - Houses for Culture and Meeting in Rural Areas" funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
