Best before at the Schuhfabrik Culture Summer Local Heroes!
The Schuhfabrik Culture Summer “Local Heroes” presents popular bands from Ahlen and the surrounding area on Fridays. The two musicians Axel Ronig and Wolfgang Brand are responsible for the selection and organization of these concerts. Best before will be at the start on August 15 from 8 pm.
Still known to many as Made In, five years ago the musicians Dixi Diecksmeier (drums), Zappo Zemella (bass), Herbert Essmeier (percussion) and Reinhard Pixa (keyboards) with front woman Nadine Vinnenberg (vocals) and Jürgen Nüßler (guitar, vocals) thought they finally wanted to return to the stages of the region and a new concept was quickly found: dust off tried and tested rock and pop classics and present them in a somewhat fresher way: Take on me by A-ha as a guitar number? Hard to Handle by the Black Crowes sung by a woman? Join me in Death by HIM without black clothes? Who knew without P!nk? The enthusiastic audiences at their previous gigs prove that the mixture works. At the Schuhfabrik Culture Summer - Local Heroes, Best before serves up a deliciously spiced feast for the ears made from old canned goods, but nothing is stale or stale, because Best before presents music without a best-before date.
Doors open at 7:30 pm. The concert will take place on the open-air stage towards the parking lot. Admission is free, but donations are appreciated. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the hall.
