This year, our Irish Week is taking place in the Schuhfabrik for the fourth time. From March 18th to 22nd, you can enjoy Irish specialties in our appropriately decorated pub! This year, the musical highlight to round off Irish Week awaits you again. On Saturday, March 22nd, Tunichtgut (ex The Gassenhauers) will be playing in the hall from 8 p.m. You can celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the finest German-language folk music, which admits to a certain penchant for beer and the old gods.

A danceable sound, created by perfidious string playing, accompanied by the roar of drums and martial singing... The interested listeners can expect a potpourri of good old Irish folk, medieval rock and everything that the acoustic style has to offer. Tunichtgut are not above poking fun at their own roots. But according to their own statement, "the everyday problems of the musicians and the rabble are also close to the musicians' hearts." Tunichtgut give the motto of the colorful concert evening as follows: "So let yourself be enchanted by music that even makes old people, old people and drunken priests shake their legs!"

The musicians are no strangers in Ahlen, the surrounding area and many medieval markets: Christian "Könich" Kaczmarek (vocals, guitar) Stefan "Steffi" Lübbecke (vocals), Lisa Kemper (drums), Dennis Wenzel (bass), Stephan Völtz (violin, vocals) and Max "Mackes" Schneider (guitar, mandolin).

Admission to this brilliant spectacle is free! The band would therefore be very happy to receive a donation or two!
This event is part of the "Third Places - Houses for Culture and Encounters in Rural Areas" project and is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
