Tunichtgut present their debut album, "Schanktaten." Support: Lily of the Devil!
A special highlight of the regional music scene awaits music lovers on Saturday, October 4th, at the Schuhfabrik Community Center. The "Night of the Folks" concert will take place at 8:00 PM (doors open at 7:30 PM): Westphalian folk band Tunichtgut will present their eagerly awaited debut album, "Schanktaten," supported by the up-and-coming folk-rock band Lily of the Devil.
Tunichtgut is a band from the Westphalian region known for their powerful Westphalian folk sound. Blending Irish folk, medieval rock, and their own Westphalian influences, they create a unique musical experience. Their lyrics address both historical and everyday themes, offering a humorous look at the lives of minstrels and the common people. Known for their energetic live performances, the band immediately captivates audiences.
Lily of the Devil is a folk-rock band from Oldenburg, Münster, and Krefeld. The band combines folk-rock with modern elements and is distinguished by its female lead vocals. The use of violin and flute gives their music a folk character, while the rhythm section and raw guitar sound occasionally delve into metallic realms. They have already enjoyed initial success with performances at the Fischtival in Greffen and the Herbststurm Festival in Oldenburg. Their current music video, "Dead End Love," showcases their versatility and passion for music.
Admission is free – donations for the bands are welcome. Early arrival is recommended to secure a good spot.
