The Watch plays Genesis „The lamb lies down on broadway“ in full length!
Genesis is a band that electrifies rock fans all over the world. With complex song structures, sophisticated instrumentation, and theatrical live performances, the British band made performances during the "Peter Gabriel era" something special, something unique. The Watch are back at the Ahlener Schuhfabrik with a brand-new show on October 11th, starting at 8 p.m., celebrating the 51st anniversary of Genesis' 1974 masterpiece "The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway."
Every single song from the double concept album will be performed on stage. Short narrations help listeners unravel the mysteries at the heart of the story. The Watch – five dedicated musicians from Milan – are a globally active and functioning time machine for time travel to the 1970s and are highly recommended by Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett.

The dramatic, Gabrielesque vocals of The Watch's singer, who is closest to Peter Gabriel, and the band's all-around outstanding instrumental work give the audience the opportunity to hear all the great songs from one of the most successful concept albums of all time as they were back then. No other band manages to capture the sense of adventure and electricity of Genesis in their pioneering days with such emotion.
Tickets are available for €21 in advance from the catering establishments until the Friday before the event. They cost €25 at the door.
